Look he shouldn't of said it and he needs to do something in his own wright to make up for it at least in the Jewish community just because of his celebrity status. But how many times have we said something wrong and had to apologies for it especially after a couple to many. I personally like Mel but don't agree with him on that one but I believe his apology is sincere.

I think alot of higher authorities have spoken alot of hypocritical things in the past. Why worry about Mel ?

Are you saying that the fact that someone famous got drunk and mouthed-off to a cop is not more important in the scheme of things than 700 dead people in Lebanon, several thousand in Iraq and on and on? My your priorities are all out of whack--it's all about the famous people and their cliche lives.
