Foward the next email you get to abuse@yahoo.com. Tell them the problem and they will investigate and most likely suspend this person's account. Of course they can go get a new account somewhere else and start spamming again but atleast this will slow them down for a while and should stop them from spamming you.

More often than not, those "remove" links are a sham. Their only purpose is to verify that your email address is active, so that you can be spammed more. Sad but true. So don't ever click on them.

There is no perfect weapon against spam except not having email at all! A few things you can do:

If your email is from Yahoo, then when you get a spam message, click on their Spam button, which removes the message from your mailbox, puts the sender on an Ignore list, and reports the sender to Yahoo.

If your email is not a web-based system like Yahoo, i.e., you have a program on your computer that manages email, then there is usually a way to block senders of spam as you get their messages.

One way to help reduce spam is not to sign address books and such, which make your email address known to anyone with a "spider" program.

It's a long and ongoing battle, but by taking a few steps you can reduce the amount of spam you get. Best of success.
