it was the Sri Lankan lions led by the man himself Arjuna Ranathunga. it saw the emergence of a man called Sanath Jayasuriya (named player of the tournament) & Aravinda De Silva (man of the match in the final). also for the first time in world cup history the team batting second won it. ironically Ranthunga won the toss but decided to field first. all other previous occasions was by the team batting first. since then only Australia in 1999 against Pakistan have done it batting second.

Unitd Arab Emirates defated brazil by an innings and 17 and a half goals...tiger woods was the lady of the match...who ran 100 metres in 360 days and also jumped one millimetre high!! the umpires wer clinton and monika!!! i hope u have got the answer...by th way...i have seen less stupid ways of loosing 5 points
