Most people I find are working jobs just to pay the bills. Is that really the way to live your life to the fullest?

My job is indeed my dream job. I work with young people in conflict with the law and present different programs to them; ie: substance education, anger management etc. These kids are sentenced to attend my job by either the court or their probation officers. Many have real bad home lives and are dealing with lots of issues. If we can help only 1 out of every 100 we see it is good. Hopefully the odds are a little higher but you never know what happens after they leave and have completed all assigned programs. The odd client will remain in touch and let us know what is happening in their lives, even if it is that they are getting into more trouble. We had one youth call after about 13 years to report that she was now married with a pair of kiddies, had a nice farm and was just thinking that she probably would not have been where she is in live right now without our assistance. This is what makes my career a dream job, hearing from ex-clients that all is well.

I am! I love my job. I got laid off from my previous job and was 42 years old. I was scared to death at the time. But then I found this job and it's the best job I have ever had. I work in technical support for a software company and also get to travel around to our customer sites to install, validate and train them on the software. I've gotten to go to places I never dreamt I would, including Australia three times and Ireland. I work with great people and the bosses are the nicest and most intelligent I've ever had. They treat me well and in return, I give them 110%. I am thankful every single day, because I know jobs like this don't come along very often in a person's life.

I am working my dream job...the key is work hard and get the dream job you want...live like you want...it depends on what you want to be in life...big house, little house...vacations...whatever you can make your life whatever you want...unfortunatly some people just don't want to work...and some people go into adulthood without goals or know what they want...then complain about it later...
