i met a girl a few months ago and we have gotten on really well. i send her pics of me all the time and would have liked some back from her but she had a bad experience with a net relationship before so rarely sends any i have tried to be patient but its hard. i love her personality like mad but would like nothing more than to see her clearly. i understand the trust thing as im the same and am still unsure if she really who she says she is as anyone can come across on here how they like you just have to take their word for it. i want to trust her totally and want her to trust me but the few online that pretend to be people they are not ruin it for those who are genuine

it can work but as long as you are both honest. trust is an easy thing to give and break and very hard to rebuild just dont pressure her too much. be patient with her for as long as she needs and arrange a meeting. then you will be able to judge if she is the person you think she is

It can work ,, but at some point, to be a "normal" relationship you will have to meet up in person and see if you both really like being with each other.
The internet is a mind environment only, and as with most reationships, there is a valid physical aspect as well.. people are also more honest in person than on the Internet.

I know of lots of friendships and relationships that have started online and been very sucessful - including 2 marraiges!
Trust who she says she is, but if she is reluctant to swap a photo or meet up perhaps she wants nothing more than an online pen pal and you may be hoping for something that is not going to happen.
There are plenty of online dating sites where you can go to meet people who are looking for someone special and will want to meet you.

It is work ! I met my husband from internet 4 years ago , he was in UK and I was in Indonesia . Now we are happily married for 2 years . It's hard to believe people from internet , but you got to start from your self , if you honest , true , genuine , I am sure you will find someone true too . You have done the right things .
So be patient .... it will WORK !

well if you really like her you shuld respect her decision to not send you so many photos....
it may take a while for her to totally trust you, as like you said, some people aren't genuine....
don't bully her and tell her how you feel, but dont be too full on and expect the same from her striaght away...
they can work out, if you are both open and honest, so go for it and hope it works out

Meeting on the internet is just like any other type of meeting. It just has a stigma attached to it. You could have the same experience meeting someone in a night club.
You can ask yourself hundreds of questions, but you will never really know until you experience it for real.

I will suggest that u do voice chat. Remember on net anonimity is bliss. After talking to her u will be in position to judge her better. You will gain more mutual trust. Subsequently u may then meet and ...the possibilities are endless. But one has to be very careful

Trust and honesty are the basis of freindschip, you must be spotan and don´t lie, she needs time to know you and have confidence in you, you must be only patient.
If she really don´t want any friendschip from net, she hadn´t answered your mails.
You must pay attention there are sometimes people in net who didn´t tell the truth and we are sometimes fascinated from their personality and when we meet them they are either not our typ or they have another personality.

in my experiences internet relationships dont work unless the person is somewhat close to yoiu and you can meet them at some point
