i turn off my computer last week and my sister turn on it.. i dont know what she's done.. then, i turn it on and my saved files, pictures even programs but it was lost.. today i always save my files but if i turn off the computer and turn it on again my saved files pictures and programs are lost again.. what will i do???

I think that your hard disk is damaged and can't save files.. may be you have formatting it for many times, if that so you have to replace yur hard disk..

Save your files, pictures & programs on CD-Rom disks!

run search to see where xp saves the files.
you can then change the default saved folder.

then back them up on a removable disk.

run restore to ring back the computer to the previous state.

If you are using XP, you can try using system restore, and restore your computer to the day your sis ... did something to your machine.

Try sandy's suggestion, system restore may solve ur problem
