Yes of course but that was long ago.
Aaron, don't hate yourself buddy. When I was your age, I felt the same way for the same reasons. I know it's hard but untill you accept that you are who you are you'll never be happy.
Believe me, I know. I went through the same thing. There's nothing wrong with you.

Yes, when I was a teenager and had friends trying to convince me that the fact that I was gay made me evil -- I considered it. Fortunately I discovered a book in the lobby of a hotel titled "Our God Too" by Thomas Swicegood. It was the first book I read that revealed that not all Christians believed gays were evil. It saved my life.
I responded to your other question as well honey. I know it feels awful right now because you believe you are bad. You are NOT bad. You are good -- so good and so wonderful. Don't let other people (even your family or your church) make you hate yourself. Don't give up a wonderful life for no reason.
Please, write me if you want, email me if you need to talk. I've included a link to the glbt teen hotline below. If you are afraid to talk to them, talk to me. I (and my partner) will do anything we can to help you.
Life is wonderful
Embrace it and embrace yourself. You are worth your own love, and the love of the most beautiful boi in the world. With luck -- you will find him - but first you have to accept and love yourself.
Peace, joy and love *hug*,
Reyn

Yep. I'm 17 and I tried killing myself once when I was about 13. It was so stupid, upset so many people and then I couldn't be trusted by my family. My Mum wouldn't leave any medication in the house. Everything's more or less fine now. I'm in a relationship and it makes me feel really happy. I get stressed and think what's the point of life sometimes. You work for years and years, go through divorces, money problems, family problems, health problems. All sorts, but no one's perfect.

Yes - at least once and I am pretty sure that most people feel this way at least once in their lives. But I found that, looking at the people that I love, the sheer grief and termoil it would cause them was enough to stop it from ever being more than a thought.

Long ago some things happened in my life that I've never fully recovered from and have had a tough time accepting that I survived when many of my fellow Marines were killed. Not a day goes by that the thought of ending my pain has not crossed my path.

More than once. And every day I see the massive crimes and cruelties our political leaders commit in our name and on our behalf, in order to "protect us" and give us "security", I feel that it would be the decent thing to do right here and now.
But as I have some more work to do, work which I believe to be of some importance for the world, I am carrying on for the time being.

I have felt like I was drowning...or that things will always be suckky...that nothing ever will be the same...but I am the type of person that feels in control...so I always looked for solutions...and it has worked for me...I am not a quitter so no I never wanted to end my life...but I have always wanted to improve who I was and the quality of my life.

When I was married to my first husband, I contemplated it often, I was at the lowest point in my life with him.
he used to beat me daily, for over 5 years, he killed my confidence and made me feel worthless. After our son was born, I started seeing things for what they were and it took 10months of plucking up the courage to finally leave him.
I then started a new life to where I have never looked back.
I was one of the lucky ones, and it's brought me to believe that nothing is worth taking your life for, as it is you that can decide what your life stands for, if its not going the right direction, then change direction even if it means moving away from where you are now with no money (I did)

Thought about it, definitely! But who is to say that the next world will be any better?
I have felt so down I didn't want to get out of bed, but however pooey you feel and however bad things seem (although it feels like you will never come out the other side) you just have to get through it! You will never feel that awful forever - things will always lighten up and you will soon be smiling again!! Yipee!

a couple of years ago i attempted to take my own life, at the time my life just seemed worthless i could not see any way out of the dispair that i was feeling at that time. The blackness that i felt when i was that far down made me believe i did not deserve to live any more and it is very hard at that time for me to except that i had worth .That was two years ago today i see life as a presious gift i see myself as a person who has a lot to offer this crazy world we live in and i feel enpowered.
If you are feeling low at this time take a good long walk soak in the wonders of nature and tell your self that you deserve to be happy.
