They n eed emotinal and mental support as well as affection. Some men are capable, some of us are a little dim in those areas. I myself am not the most nurturing husband, and it will cost me the woman I love in the end.
Another thing is, don't pretend to be someone your not, be yourself, because sooner or later you will revert to who you ARE. And that is entraping her with falsehoods, and it can only lead to dissappointment and a bitter end for your relationship. She will either love you or she won't.

Respect her and take extra care with tender towards her feelings , ensure she must be very comfortable with you all the time , allow her to speak , learn to be a good listener , never stop her , be attentive while she is talking .
