Blair and his country are dependent on the U.S. for a lot of economic help. Unfortunately the war build up has helped both economies. Its better to have a steady war based economy with supply and demand keeping both UK and US companies afloat. The last thing they want to see is this.SEE:

Poke him in the eye with a sharp stick or slap him around the face with a wet fish. It would make great telly, but I don't know it TB could do anything to influence GWB's policies!
Also, the UK is not dependent on US economic aid. The UK has the 4th largest economy in the World, which isn't bad for a little country

STEP AWAY ! Like he did with Arnold (California) !Stepped away from Georgey's energy policy and sided with the Governor of California. Will not matter much tho, Blair will be out of office soon anyway! Then he will "step-up-to-the-plate" with BILL Clinton!
