I'm in Moncton New Brunswick (Canada) What do I need to do to open a 24hr daycare for kids of all ages?

I'm looking for grants or any financial assistance, what training and qualifications would be needed. Permits, licences, etc... Contacts with info would be appreciated. Serious answers only please!

Unless you already have some money saved up you won't get any financial assitance. You would need people that have the proper training, ECE (Early Childhood Education) diploma. I don't think you can get a permit for 24hr daycare.

Associations may be a good avenue to explore. These organizations will address many of the thoughts, questions and concerns you'll inevitably have as well as many you haven't anticipated yet. See the source box for some relevant links.

Research, research, research – this cannot be stressed enough. Read as much as you can about the industry. Here are some book titles that are relevant:
