Are you male or female and are most of your Freinds Guys or Girls .....?
friendship day is on sunday so this question popped into my head :)

all woman here...most my friends are men,matter of fact I dont have any girls/women for friends anymore..

I am female, but most of my friends are men. I have aged rather gracefully, (close to 50). I am ill but have remained in the work force, when most women I know would be sitting in a wheel chair complaining.
I have kept myself and my body in good shape for an aging woman, and most of the grandmother types do not appeal to me except for casual conversation. I do not have grand children. I do not have children (my only son was killed when he was 6 years old in an auto accident/drunk driver), so I am not really comfortable when the purse albums of pictures come out, it breaks my heart that my own sweet son did not ever live long enough to have a family.
I like to talk about things that do not interest the average woman my age. My idea of fun is to take a lunch and go to the firing range, and spend the afternoon with my husband having a picnic and shooting. I would rather hike than crochet, I would rather go to Tombstone and spend an evening bar hopping in that little town and stay in a motel than go to the craft fair. My home is done in the true tradition of the minimalist, I do not have a bunch of doo dads or cutesy crap someone told me it looked like my husband lives alone becaue there is nothing to portray my "Martha Stewart"/side. I am a great cook, and my husband still looks at me with a sly smile and we make early excuses to leave the party. So I am not trying to say I ever feel "masculine", but I have a lot more in common with men, (including the occasional good cigar and liking my whiskey neat and in this neck of the woods, there is no doubt that my politicks (misspelling intended) is more with the men than the women!
Do you think I am strange? I have a lot of friends, (of both genders). While I am very feminine in my appearance, I think I just fit in better with the men. When I feel like fitting in at all. haha...Living in Hell with Menopause sometimes makes me ornery!

Im a female and I have two close girlfriends but the rest of my friends are guys. Haven't had good luck with girls they always do something to mess the friendship up. With guys I don't have to worry about that, they are more laid back and fun to hang around with.

I am female. I have both, but more male. I've always gotten along with guys better than girls. It's just easier for me. Girls can be so complicated.

I'm a guy. Mostly of my friends are girls I don't know why, but is like that, besides that my work environment if full of ladies. Happy friendship day.

I'm female, and now that I'm an adult most of my friends are female, but growing up most of my friends were guys, including my grade school- high school best friend (Shamus)

kinda sucks sometimes when we go out cos if ppl see me with a guy they think we're together.. not so much on my part cos i have a bf but it might stop my guy mates pulling!

I am a female and most of my friend's are guys. They are funner, less competitive and don't stab you in the back.
