Where are you from? Do you say soda or pop? I'm from Chicago the Mid-West and we say Pop.

My family has always said soda, but the other kids where I grew up called it pop. I lived in a small town in the Finger Lakes region of Western NY, but my mom moved there from Flushing, NY.

Pop in Canada but Soft Drink seems to be more of the universal term

I am from VT and it is called SODA. Only people from the mid-west call it POP.

Soda (can't tell you where i'm from..but it's soda here, never pop) the only pop we've got here is corn

yeah i usually just call it by the specific brand but i'm from canada and most call it pop up here

so if you refuse to say pop... do you not sing pop goes the weezil? or any other song with the word pop in it?
