No, it is all the pollution that we put in our atmosphere everyday. We have to find another source of energy or the earth will be very different in the future. Our population has increased because of better medicine however the increase in our population has no correlation on global warming. The only thing I can think of that might add to the equation are the use of more energy because more people is on the earth.

Let's see if I have this right. Matter can neither be created or destroyed, only changed. Man lives on a rock in a decaying orbit around a star. Earth has gone from tropical, then an Ice age, and moved to its present state...Ever notice the same pinheads that today squeal about warming were the ones in the '70's warning of the upcoming ice age? Can you say Agenda?

Along with increased population we have increased technology to ensure that those of us lucky enough to live in 'advanced' societies can continue to get ourselves off by consuming all that we can. We find ourselves so bored by life now we don't have to actually work at it that we have lost touch with the world around us. The few enlightened individuals who recognise that we are ruining this earth are seen as kill-joys for ruining our fun and pointing out that we should accept responsibility. If you choose to believe that this is a 'natural phenomenon' then go ahead and enjoy your latest mcdonnalds happy meal toy.

Since the rise in carbon dioxide is directly correlated to the rise in temperature, yes, you could see this as an indirect cause. The more people, the more energy must be generated to supply power to homes and businesses, meaning more CO2 is added to the atmosphere. More people are driving cars, and more agricultural and manufacturing pollution also add to the CO2.

Volcanic eruptions contribute to Global Warming along with any other method that Planet Earth uses to release excess heat from the Molten Core :-)

OK, it's nothing near any Human contribution when you consider Industrialisation, and you can't do anything about it really, but it's something to think about :-)

well.if population increase, more land is needed for house and so on.therefor, trees will be cut down forest will be cleared.
we know green plants take in corbon dioxide and produce oxygen during respiration.this is how the percentage of carbon dioxide and oxygen is maintain.cos human give out carbon dioxide and plant take in carbon dioxide and give out oxygen for human to respire.
What i'm trying to say is when population grows and there's less forest/green plants. It will cost global warming.Carbon dioxide is a greenhouse gas,so more corbon dioxide in earth means global warming...

Looks like China was right after all with that 'one child' thing! Thank you Bush/Blair for trying to overthrow that law and so cause increased CO2 emissions.
