Hong Kong, Singapore, Taipei & Tokyo. Who will become the financial centre of Asia Pacific? PS: Shanghai is excluded in consideration list because of its system and nature. It could only be financial centre of PRC.

Tokyo is currently the most important financial in APac exclude Shanghai, but HK is very flexible, many hot moneies flows into HK for opportunities....

Singapore is trying very hard but the strict policies make it unfravorable to many investors. My bet is still on Singapore because I believe the government will continue to look into the policies and amend to attract more investors into the island. The people in Singapore show sincerity in businesses and no language barrier for westerners is the strong fundamental for this country to grow steadily for the competition

Ultimately, it will depend on where more companies go to list their stock and sell their bonds. So far, the clear winner is Tokyo, but that may change in the future. Also, I wouldn't exclude the possibility that eventually, the financial center of Asia Pacific will move to London. As more and more multinational companies emerge in Asia, they will increasingly seek global financing. And London is the place to get it...

Singapore is already the biggest Financial Center in the World ... she will continue to hold this reign and increase her powers.
