"We are non-violent with those who are non-violent with us"-Malcom x

Well Mr.X allow me to add this one "We are peacful with those who are peacful with us...and viceversa"

"They made us hate oursleves and hate each other" thatz what i keep hearing young brothers and sisters in the ghetto say....

Let me tell u something brothers and i'm part of your family as we are all brothers..I know that livin in the ghetto is like tasting hell..but we cant just say"Ok those white folks are racist and they dont give us our rights...screw them"...i believe that there are still racists but that dosent mean we cant work hard to get the hell out of this mess "ghetto" work hard and take a look around us..the world is full of opportunities and good luck..if u worked hard.

I think thatz a wrong way to express our selves which is "rappin".We keep on swearing and insulting the cops without no damn results...we can work hard and get a better life than just rappin.

Peace...

It is true but most rappers do have better life because they rap about their experience in the ghetto. If rappers stop cussing and insulting cops they can still be successful but there are a culture of young people who related to those angry feelings, that is why rap is still around today. Your right there are other options like going to school and getting an education. In the US there are not excuse not to be successful at something. "The Man" is not holding you back, the only man holding you back is you. I think you are on the right track and you should continue to seek a better education because that is the best way to get out of the ghetto and obtain a better life for yourself.

Malcom X was the opposite of Dr. King. X was a racist. You can't blame others for your own hate.

As a side note, white people live in "ghettos" too, we just don't call them "ghettos". Plus the majority of black Americans don't actually live in ghettos.

Love hate you can't ignore it. Everyone has the right 2 express themselves but if someone threatened me personally that's when I've got a problem with it. Do what you want when you want no one should care, as long as you're happy SMILE

Nobody made anyone a racist - are you not in control of your own mind? Can you not rise above the peer pressure and the media to make your own decisions? Come on...

It seems to me, no one is without a little racist whispering in our ear. It is up to ourselves to choose wether we listen or not. A person must accept responsibility for his own actions. Yeah, sometimes I have racist thoughts and ideas, but I try to shake them off and leave them by the wayside.

You seem to believe in working hard to achieve what you want to in life and not letting narrow minded get in your way. This is a refreshingly honest opinion and I commend you for it.

I hope you succeed in everything you strive for.

Good luck!
