Dancing ability implies good co-ordination which in turn implies good genes so therefore a good dancer could be a good father. On the other hand, dancing is also a social skill and so I guy who can dance is unlikely to be a boring geek.
Best answer to this question can be observed by going to a ceilidh and watching the men in kilts dance 'Strip the Willow' - very fast with lots of spinning ( chance to assess the talent!!) and quick swapping of partners. If the guy can't dance, the girl is liable to end up with a broken ankle!

There is an urban myth that equates good dancing rhythm to sexual prowess.
That was my first answer...but looking at it more deeply, (with my psychologist hat on) it might be to do with courtship rituals...
If you think of the four footed animal kingdom, often the male struts his stuff in order to be chosen by the female.
Just thinking of peacocks, for example. The male has a wonderful plumage....and loves showing off.
On a primitive level, women love to watch a man strutting his stuff.
Don't worry if you can't dance - you could learn, if you wanted to. Also there are many women who look for deeper qualities in a man.

A fella who can dance really well is very sexy to me, espesh street dancing when they wear jeans and leathers and are coming towards you. (getting hot now). Cor! But gimme a guy who does BALLET? or BALLROOM? Nah! that just doesn't do it for me. A rough and ready sexy street dancer (Backstreet boys, Five ,and the like) will always have me drooling. (getting REALLY hot now!)Lol.

look 99.9% of men can't dance and the ones that women says can dance is because they already like them and other info 99.9% of women can't dance either and the ones that mens says that they can is because they remind them of a stripper that they can touch without getting threw out the joint or bar or club

That is not necessarily true. It depends on the type of persona you have. If you put off a silent but strong introspective and cool type of persona then you can just stand there and be too cool for school and the ladies'll love it. But, people are shallow and love judging others, so depending on your appearance, they might just think you are a nerdy loser if you try and pull that off.

it is absolutely true that a good dancer is good in bed - they got rthymn.
But bearing this in mind it is easy to teach a man to dance if they are willing to learn and they are soooooo many ways to dance baby!!
