I wear the carpet out. I pace so much.
Now with cell phones, I go outside in the parking lot and "balance beam" back and forth on concrete stopper thingies. I get a kick out of watching people laugh at me--It's kind of fulfills the need for multi-tasking I guess.

Oh yeah. I am a serious pacer. Drives everyone around me a little nuts, because I will pace in different rooms...depending on my mood and how long the phone conversation goes on

Oh yeah! I also walk in circles. All of a sudden, I'll realize I'm circling the kitchen island for the 100th time and wonder how long I've suffered from OCD!

yeah and also when brushing my teeth, my flatmates often walk in and find me in the living room/kitchen etc brushing away..
also when i'm giving directions on the phone i get up and align myself with the route the person is taking, and then walk and turn all around the office to help me visualise where i should tell the person to go, sometimes making pointing gestures with my hands.. my colleagues just laugh

no....I site and talk.....unless I am doing my house chores or using the bath room....
I hate pacing......that does annoy me.....
