I like the way you formulate your question. The answer is not that easy though.
First of all you really need to concentrate on the main issue and search for other alternatives accordingly.

Good luck...

You mention that you respect his parents and that tells me you are a person of character. You already know how important family is in any relationship. Can you sit down with his parents and discuss why they won't give your marriage their blessing? How do your parents feel about you two getting married? Perhaps they can help you present a united front to his parents.
How long have you both been together? Is your age a factor in his parents' opposition?
About the fact that he has already cut all ties with his family for you : this is not the way to begin any marriage. The issue is already causing problems in your relationship. If you marry him without at least trying to resolve this issue, he may eventually resent you for causing this separation from his family.
In-law problems have been known to be a factor in divorce.
Good luck.

First of all...It the best getting everyone's blessings, especially your own kin's blessings.
If things really can't work with his family, then i would advise you...Don't get married. Since you both are so in love with each other, being married or not is not a problem. As long as you both can be together, whether to get that sheet of marriage certificate is not an issue.
Perhaps many years down the road, both of your endurance and waiting surprises and touches the hearts of his family and thus you can get married at that time.
All the best!

Find out what his parents objections are and wait it out until you can get their blessing and consent. This is a cultural/traditional thing and a respect issue for them. If he/you go against his parents wishes, this may cause resentment later on in your marriage.

If they see that you are truly in love, that you will not be happy with anyone else nor will you date or marry anyone else, they should eventually come around.

If you are from the same caste, is it possible your parents could meet with his and discuss it?

Maybe try to respectfully convince his parents that you two are in love, and that the world needs more married people who are actually in love. It just makes for a happier place.

It's not his parents marrying you, it's him. Marry him.

If I ever listened to anything my family told what to do and what not to do I'd be living in the corner of a shed or something.

"traditional family from same cast" ---- what does that mean? Are you related? If you are related, then you need to listen to the parents. I don't know what you are trying to say.................
