Lets say the order comes to $5.08 how much would you put in the tip jar for this amount?
Do you use a "Starbucks card" and if you do....do you tip?
I am just curious....because I've seen people use the card and not leave anything.
Also, do they say "Thank-you" if you leave a tip? Often I do and they don't say anything. Almost makes me feel that a tip to them does not matter.
What are your feelings on tipping....
Do you feel obilgated to tip?
At this place I eat breakfast sometimes at the register there is a small jar, that says "Tips for the cooks". I never leave anything because I have tipped at least 20% to the waitress already....

I have no experience with Starbucks tipping as I am coffee-free. Wooh Hooh! However, my tipping in general is out of control. I feel obligated to give everyone at least 20% from my hairstylist to the pizza delivery guy to the crappy waiter/waitress... okay maybe I give the crappy ones 15%. Anyhoo, my point is I think anything under 20% is cheap, but isn't 20% too much?
How about Christmas gifts? People in my neighborhood even give cash gifts to the mailman and sanitation workers. Meanwhile, I feel like a schmuck for not giving them anything. Oh the pressure! What's appropriate these days?

You must not tip to much at Starbucks. If you do the coffee will spill out of your cup. The worst case is if the cup actually "tips over." I can firmly say that tipping coffee is a bad idea.

I tip but only occasionally uf it's a specialty drink. The caramel mach i will order once in awhile.

i do not tip starbucks, they don't do anything different than a fast food place would do, i don't tip at mcdonalds
