Surely if they are supposed to be more advanced to us, then they would be around us somewhere. And who said they were better, I think we're pretty darn good.

Pente Jaye, why would you assume I wanted to be connected to you? You must be one of the alien's runts.

Well you first assume that there are Aliens.
You then assume that there are Aliens close enough to visit the Earth.
You then go on to assume that they would want too.

Don't assume, when you assume you make an A'SS out of U and ME.

PS: You also assumed in your statement 'I think We're pretty darn good' that I wish to be linked with you.
I do not!

I thank you for addressing me directly :)
But I still do not wish to be linked with you.
You are one of those strange people who believes in Aliens who visit Earth. It's unlikely in the extreme. You should worry about real dangers like the Mole men and Blackula. That's some scary shi't :)

"runts", :) Nice one, I'm from London so I appreciate that.

You hear it time and time. Everyone seems to think that all alien civilisations would be more advanced than us. Why is it so hard to think that some might be equal or even further behind than us?

One way to look at it is to try to figure out how old a civilisation is likely to be. For the last few billion years it has been possible for alien species to develop intelligence in our galaxy- there have been many suitable stars similar to our Sun, some a number of billion years older than our Sun.

So if there are any intelligent alien species up there, they are quite likely to have evolved millions, if not billions of years ago. Unless such a long-lived civilisation has reached a developmental plateau and failed to move out of their equivalent of a stone age or medieval age, they are very likely to have reached our level of development long ago.

Some might reach a level of development comparable to our own and destroy themselves in nuclear or biological warfare; some might run out of fossil fuels and regress to a post-industrial medieval ism. But the ones which last the longest are likely to continue to develop in technological terms and have technology far in advance of our own.
There may be civilisations which have never developed, or regressed; there may be super advanced civilisations millennial or millions of years ahead of us; there might even be decadent advanced civilisations which dedicated their energies to pure entertainment and virtual reality, dreaming away their immortal lives instead of striving for ever greater achievements; but the chance that any will be at a similar level of technology to our own is very small.

A big problem is that we can only base assumptions on our own experience.

But on a personal level, I don't think there is much of a difference between these beings and what we all perceive as God. My opinion is that they are one and the same.

I think that we are a very narrow minded species if we truly believe that we are alone in this vast Universe to where we are only a tiny spec.

Yes they are here. Where do you think all the sudden medical and technological breakthroughs come from. We bang our heads on a brick wall trying to work somat out, and then you suddenly read about some whizkid or someone 'top of their field' that no one has ever heard of has done it.

They are here posing as us!

Sorry just finished an X file fest, 16 episodes back to back, sad I know but conspiracy theories keep the brain active.

Yeah they have probably already looked at us and thought we were horrible. Look at them they are all fighting. Look at the little primatives. They have not gotten past infancy of fighting. Just like 2 waring ant piles.

Stephen Hawing if you know the brilliant man said that he hopes that we do not make contact with the aliens because he thinks it will be disastourous. We do not have a good history of treating more primative people good, so they will probably not treat us well. He said it would be disastorous if we came into contact with them.

Here is one sure reading that you will marvel at, and they talked also about God...

(
The ET's have other concerns, too. They discussed God and death with Wolf. And they pointed out that all worlds are connected: "One Hiroshima atomic bomb can affect millions of cultures in the galaxy." They also told him: "Thought is energy. It doesn't stop at a galactic 'barrier' — it is received on other worlds."

Yes, illegal aliens are with us but I don't think they're more advanced than us. If anything they are less advanced thats why they come here.
