The whole story- I went out with this guy for 2 years and we broke up 2 months ago. We were engaged. he broke up with me the day before my birthday, telling me that he couldnt cope with us and he just wants me to get over him. He said he would do anything to help me get over him, even if it ment me hating him. He went a bit crazy, started doing drugs, came into college drunk on my birthday and forgot it completely. Started hanging out with his ex, told me he didnt care about me and had already forgotten about me. He kissed a girl at a party in front of me, whilst telling people he still cared about me,. Now he is with someone else, and i cant help but feel hurt. after meeting her once he just asked her out, im hurt coz he wudnt fight for what WE had. I cant help but feel hurt by the way that he acts although I put on a front in front of him. I try to forget but its not that easy when your ex is acting like such a jerk. any advice, because we go to college together and itsawqud

Sweetie ~ he told you it's over and now he's showing you why he wanted out. Although it is painful and will be for a while, you'll get past him.
What makes it a bit easier to move on is that you have the proof right before your eyes that he's in a self-destructive mode.
Don't let him drag you along.
And, you don't have to feel awkward ~ he should.

sigh I'm so sorry for your trouble but Hun hes just not worth the pain your feeling ,,Its a shame that you might have to see him but your in a situation where it maybe you cant avoid him but try and do things different for yourself and keep yourself in a different area then him , I don't think hes been very nice to you in the least and after a 2 year relationship if this is how he choices to act towards you your much better with out him ,,,do some nice things for you and stay away from anything that might hurt you in anyway ,,,its going to be really hard on you i know that but honestly you have to think of yourself and not him ,

Just ignore him. He sounds so inmature and a loser. You have put up w/ way too much crap. he does not apprecaite you, and he never will. There's plenty of man out there, so why are you going to dwell over just one> don't be mad cause he won't fight for what you guys had, be happy he didn't. otherwise you would ahve been stuck w/ such a loser. You are worth more than that!

You have every right to be hurt.. he's a jerk.. try and get over him, forget about him because he just really doesn't care.. Don't fell awkward.. be strong and confidant.. he should be the one feeling awkward.. when he sees you don't seem phased by it maybe he will learn.
I wouldn't give him the time of day.

The guy has serious issues that he needs to address.
If he wouldn't even fight to keep your relationship together then he's not worth your time and effort. It will be hard for a while but you will move on and find some one better.

yeah, he is a jerk ;) get angry. hate him for a moment or a bit more. maybe ignore him and make new friends (most important advice maybe) it's necessary to let him go. HE makes it clear. he is trying to do his best to forget you. believe me, he is "trying". but it's clear he means it serious, so better forget him completely. find friends, have fun, go out, meet people and move on. angryness will fade. you will find love again with someone who knows what he wants. force yourself not to look back, get a life without him, you'll find someone new who wont be a jerk. time does heal all wounds and revenge is a dish best served cold.
