Fred is the best.
A lot of the younger generation are unaware that this was not a clildren's cartoon this was originally on as the first prime time adult cartoon.

i suppose I like both Fred and Barney the most.
But I also sure do like the analogy of Fred Flintstone with Jackie Gleeson!
I thought that was rather clever and appropriate.
How Brilliant was Jackie Gleeson and Craze Guggenheim [can't remember the spelling]?? ... but what a brilliant show that was!!

I love The Flintstones! I never really had a favorite character, but I loved 'the wayouts' (remember the song?), the ghastlies (the scary new neighbours who were featured once or twice) and of course the Great Gazoo.

That is a cartoon that I still enjoy watching to this day, only now I enjoy it with my children. I like Fred too. He is like the Jackie Gleason of the cartoon world.

I am a HUGE fan. My favorite character of all time is DINO!!!! I have him tattooed on my ankle. I have so many items with Dino, plates, cups, blow up raft, night lite, tooth brush.....and on and on. Too many things to put.
