You are in a store, and the person in front of you doesn't have enough money. Would you pay for them? I'm speaking of around $10.00. What would be your limit? This happend to me yesterday.

I paid for an older man's bill, it was just under 7 bucks.

He had two sacks, ears of corn and some bread was all I saw. If it had been beer or a bunch of candy I may not have paid. I help people when I can. I have driven home little old ladies who walked to the store and it started to rain. I do it because that's the kind of person I am. I don't think the old guy was a scam, if he was, that's his problem.

I did it a few times before...... The last time I think it was around 14+ change....
I guess it all depends. I had more than enough money on me and it looked like the person in front of me was totally shocked that some money was missing from her purse.
No big deal.... I bought beer for the old man beggin for change out side the store before too, sat down and drank my beer with him. Bought some cigarettes and some food too. It felt good to me but to someone else it may sound idiotic, but who cares.... do things to help others only if you really mean it. That's what I do and I know that I enjoy my life....everyday.
Peace.

I'm a person with a fair mix of emotion, logic, and intuition. The emotion allows me to love to do things for people because it makes them feel good, which in turn makes me feel good. The logic allows me to assess whether or not the person is deserving. The intuition tells me if I'm right.
Yes, I would help out a person in that situation. I have been in similar situations at McDonald's and the Dollar store, where people didn't have enough money.
I always ask them to "pay it forward"...to pass a good deed along their way somehow.

I guess it depends, I most likely wouldn't, unless it were an elderly person and only a few dollars- however, I'm a student who doesn't have a job, so throwing around money to save other peoples' butts isn't really high on my agenda... if anything, I'm probably the person who would need helping out.
So... most likely no.

I'm not being stingy here, but I'm not rich, and I would NEVER go into a store without knowing I had enough money on me to buy the items I wanted.
So I'd say I'd give about a Euro tops, sorry, but you don't walk into a store and buy $10,00 of stuff over what you can afford, it's madness!!

Depends on the person, situation and what they are buying.
If the person was buying snack food, cigarettes and beer. NO!
Milk, bread, eggs, baby food or cereal. Maybe!!!
However with social programs WIC, Food Stamps it really isn't necessary. Unless the person is a stoner and selling their food stamps.

I guess it would depend on the situation, but yeah, if I had the money on me I would. In hopes that some day if I really needed it, someone would do it for me. If what people say is true "what comes around goes aroud" then we all should be helping each other out.

10 $ isn't cheap! maybe that's some trick to get your money to pay for him. if he hasn't got enough money than that person should get back the things he took ed from the store. but sometimes it can happened that, to have not enough money

If i had the extra money (assuming they are not lacking 10.00 on an 11.00 dollar bill) i would give it to them. if i didn't have it i would just feel bad for them. How did you handle it?
