Iran is obviously trying to start something. Threats of violence sure seem to be the ONLY thing arabs understand. Must be a cultural thing I guess.

The whole middle east thing has been scary since 1945.
If Israel is smart this time, they won't give back any of the lands they occupy!
The only people who have been decent have been the Egyptians. They give back the Gaza and the first thing Hamas does is cross the border and kidnap!
My, what nice people!
One day perhaps Israel shall occupy the entire North African region!
Then all the Arabs will have to go to Canada or Sweden and get the UN to give them a homeland!
Then the UN will carve out a spot in Israel!
One thing is for sure. Everyone in Israel, including the women, have the belly for a fight. Not every Arab does, just the extremists and there aren't a lot of them. When the fighting starts the Arabs exist. Do you see any Israellies leaving Israel even though rockets are hitting them?!
The Lebonnese, they getting out of that country as fast as they can.
You'll watch the Syrians go to another country onces the jets start bombing.
They have no belly for a fight and the militants are just bullies pushing innocent countries like Lebanon into the midst of a fight!

Anybody in his right mind should be scared that Israel is going to invade Syria, and the Syrians certainly are.
Iran might flip its lid, but Russia now has a market economy and might start counting the roubles.

No I don't think we could be that lucky. Iran and Russia would whine but that's about it. Iran might also suddenly divorce Hezbollah. If Iran had the courage to fight Israel they would have already attacked. They couldn't whip Iraq and they D*** sure couldn't handle the Israelis

No, the mileage isn't important, you have to remember how close all these countries are to each other and their size. A moot question with your concern with Iran or Russia.
