I think you're the only one who can actually answer that. We all wish we could find that one simple, true answer that fits everybody. But we each have to figure that out for ourselves individually.
The answer can only be found in the process of living your life, learning as much as you can and the discovery of what really matters to you.
Whether you believe in an overarching purpose set forth by an omnipresent God for his creation or you've concluded that we just wound up here by the natural process of the universe coming into being, your purpose on this planet is your own and no one else's.
Everybody has their own set of values, needs, desires that makes them a unique individual. Your purpose will evolve through slow, steady revelation as you grow, from the time you are born to your last breath.
So really, the question should be: why am I here? If you pay attention, you'll have answered it for yourself.

We are here to learn, to learn to love and accept and respect ourselves for who we are and to learn form our actions and our mistakes and shine our bright light into the world and be friendly and respectful towards others and help wherever possible out of the goodness of our heart and without expecting anything in return.

Unless you ASSUME a GOD, the question of life's purpose is meaningless. Focusing on ourselves will never reveal our life's purpose. Everything got started in HIM and finds its purpose in HIM. Now, to answer your question, we are here at yahoo because we have nothing better else to do!

We are here because we are on the rung of an evolutionary ladder. There is more to us than we could ever believe. As we evolve, we will discover bigger objectives and bigger dimensions to exist in.

we are here to pour out our questions to strange people perhaps from all over the world, and get different views, and also try and help many other people with their troubles.
