Fender will never stop making the Strat.

Amps are just as much of a personal choice as guitars are. It's easy to to say Marshall but you'd be amazed by the amount of different manufacturers that are widely used by big name performers. My personal favorite is the Vox AC-30. The tone of the Beatles, Tom Petty, Brian May of Queen, and Radiohead all owe themselves to Vox. Until I can afford one however, I'll stick with my Line6 Flextone.

I don't know to much about amps. But I can tell you that a strat is good!!! Lol. Now I have a question for you! Did they stop making strats? My dad told me they did. Anyways, all I Can tell you is that a marshall is a very good amp, and so are fenders. I couldn't tell you what would be best though. Just depends on what sound you want and what you like/can afford!!!

It depends on what you're using the amp for. If you're practicing, I would suggest a small Fender practice amp. But for a show, get one of those good Crate amps. (Try the Blue Voodoo for some good Hendrix-style effects!)

examine the grounds. some strats that have a whammy linked to it, have a floor twine which could be discovered below the bridge. in case you have that, then examine if it has broken. if all nicely, then use a three-pin whilst enjoying your strat to avert any floor/buzzing issues.
