Why have emos been getting a lot of attention lately?

Three years ago, I don't recall anybody talking so much about them. Why are people constantly mentioning and poking fun at emos lately?

Well, nowadays, emo music has become more famous! But the opinions are a bit different : some ppl like it, some don;t!

cuz emo is so in now. and emo music is getting more mainstream.
