That depends on what you want. If you're only interested in him/her for a sexual relationship, then it's fine (assuming, of course, that you both take precautions when having other relationships -- no one needs to get a disease). After all, "absence makes the heart grow fonder," and every time you get together, it's like a new and different lover enters your life.

If, however, you're interested in the commitment of a long term relationship, then no. It's hard enough to maintain a relationship when you can work on it together on a daily basis, but when someone is far away, it's too easy to grow apart because your experiences are not shared. After all, "out of sight, out of mind."

It depends as far as a lover way not if you are married or in a committed relationship than the answer is a bit grayer If you two are only going to see each other every couple of months and spend alot of time having sex for plesure go for the idea can work well it gives you something to look foward to and its always better sex if you were away from your lover for a time If you think that he or she will come to love you more intime because whenever you get together you are having a good time maybe than the other person is just using you for sex when they are around the real answer is what you feel most comfortable with yourself.
