MUslims can and do eat all sorts of meat, as long as it has been killed a certain way (halal) its acceptable to eat it. Contrary to popular belief this is not a religious thing, although a prayer is said at the time of slaughter. Its killed in such a way that minimal lactic acid is dispersed into the flesh, as they feel it is unhealthy to eat this. Basically the animal should suffer as little stress as possible
