If you need euros, best to get them from an ATM.
When you try to exchange them back for your home currency, you get screwed no matter what. You're probably best off depositing them in your account at your local bank.

You can get Euros in the airport at kiosks or the better thing is to get them from an ATM. When you buy Euros, don't get more than you will need. Use your credit card for purchases instead. If you go to street markets you can probably use a few dollars for small purchases anyway. Save the last of your Euros to buy a meal before you fly. Then save the rest as sounevirs.
