I'm like you but honey remember you can only do the best you can do when you've prepared all you can.
I do past papers under exam conditions so I get used to the whole atmosphere. Practice, Practice, Practice beforehand and relax as they day draws near with some light revision the day before.
Study SMART not hard. Captialise all your resources, examples done in class, tut work etc. If you don't understand something ask a teacher but I find it better to ask another student because they talk on your level.
In the exam, look through the whole paper (usually you have reading time), mark questions you think easiest, then come back to the hard ones. Saves time and you will have a self confidence boost that will allow you to approach harder questions.
I do Physics/Nanotechnology at uni and yeah it's challenging but if you focus on what you can do rather than what you can't do it works out better and former obstacles seem way smaller.

You are over stressing. You sound like a perfectionist. You sound like me. Well, I think you should realize that you've studied
your best, you know the answers,it's only a way for your instructor to gage what you know,it's only a test,& you can always take it over. It's not the end of the world.
While you are taking the test, stay on task/stay focused. Don't
allow your mind to play games with you. Don't 2nd guess your
self.
When your breathing gets abnormal put yourself in check. LOOK at what you're doing, stop it, calm down,re-group.

Look, Ive got final exams coming up too. I know your mind can go crazy after many hours of studying. My best advice is to do something you like before the test. For example, I just relax, listen to music, and eat a candy bar. Try not to work yourself up. If you studied well enough, you should do just fine.

The method I used to get through tests was I finally just said....f*** it. If I pass I pass and if I don't achieve the score I want well okay, then I work harder next time. When I thought this way, I ended up getting 90's on university exams most of the time. I took the pressure off of myself because I was my own worst enemy.

if you have such bad test anxiety, universities usually offer help for this. there's an office you can go to...i think it's usually lumped together with the disabilities office. they give you alternate ways to test, more time, etc. you might try seeking one of those out.
