As most of my friends know, I'm not a Republican or a fan of American politics. It's hard to trust the Bush adminstration. Every press conference by the Republican party is shrouded in political spin and lies. I can't stand the fact that the American people can't even have access to the president, either through the media or at large political conventions as the audience is chosen from an elite group of devoted republicans. That is why we get questions like, "thank you Mr President for doing such a wonderful job". Yet is this approach working? Is the American public being fooled? To some extent, yes, Bush is a second term president, but when you look at the polls, his approval ratings has dropped to their lowest value in the last eight years and America's standing with other nations is at an all time low. President Clinton may have made some mistakes in the past but at least he was cool, his style didn't rub countries up the wrong way with his arrogant rhetoric.

I have a news flash for you...Clinton, both Bill during his presidency and Hillary during her terms and now during her bid for the oval office, "stack" their audiences. It's a common practice and has gone on since the birth of the press conference.

And Clinton was "cool". So that makes the mistakes he made running this country forgivable? The whole premise for the "question" is faulty.

Perhaps what all voters need to do in the next year is really examine their priorities as Americans. If your main goal in life is to not piss any one off, then you keep on voting for the John sKerry's of the world. I would rather stand and fight for what I believe to be right. And I won't yield to international popular opinion. What sets this country apart is freedom. We have it, they don't. We didn't get it by being concerned with what France thought of us or by bowing down to the Kofi Annans of the world.

Yeah we got screwed. 2 elections were wrong. One was stollen the other was rigged by the republican party who has control of voting machines or did not allow certain people to vote and vaious other offenses. Do people know yeah some do and some do not. Some people here are infuriated and scared. We cannot protest or we get shot with pepper spray and high velocity bean bags that give huge sores. We get put on watch lists and the constutution and bill of rights have been over ridden because the "decider" says so. Yeah some people are in ignorant bliss and thing everything is fine and the others of us live in fear and terror.
Yeah clinton was good, but he had sex and lied and it was a whole big deal because the conservative side had their little kids say that the president lied and how bad that way. Bushy lies and lies and it is fine he is a good neo-christian. That is a christian from a new bible full of hate and kiling. The new ten comandments thou shalt kill, hate thy neighbor and couvit money and worsip the golden calf. the golden rule of punsh others unto others and so on and so forth. Just do the opposisite of what Jesus would do and you have got a Neo-Christian Bush Christian. No news lets talk about the run away bride, and gay marrage and the humanitarian aid in iraq not the war. It is a peace effort not a war. If we do not like Condi we are racist, if we do not like the war we hate democaracy that is what bush logic is.

Some americans are ignorant and others are just furious and fearful. We know the bushmobile was egged on inaguration one because his presidency was being protested.

People ask why so many americans were so stupid to vote for him well we did not all vote for him. Our elections are rigged.

They say the media is libral yeah right. What about it is libral. Fox? Rush? Scarborough country? Abrams Report? Nancy Grace? What? Why was dan rather fired after his long career?

Why is tony blair friends with the "decider" Do you think it has been a mistake that they give us a horrible education in ameriaca? Nope the want us dumb.

Do you know the saying?

When clinton lied no one died

You say that "Every press conference by the Republican party is shrouded in political spin and lies". Does this mean you know the truth of what they are really saying? Stacked audience at conventions? That's what a convention is. You don't go to car convention if you don't like cars.

I agree with you. I love president Clinton. What he did was none of our business. It was his own PERSONAL life and we should have never been involved in it. When people would talk about what he did I would say "Would you like it if you cheated on your wife/husband and it was over the news and everyone knew about it?" They wouldn't know what to say. I know he was over our country but he is human just like we are. We all make mistakes and sometimes we pay for them but that is part of life. If president Clinton would run again he would have my whole vote! I love that man to death and I have a lot of respect for him. I would make sure that my vote counted unlike the election with bush! Cliton may have gotten a 'B l o w Job" in office but that's not as bad as Bush giving America a "B l o w Job"!!!! Well I think I got my point across.
