I think you may need to change your eating practices. You shouldn't starve yourself and then eat. You should eat only good foods and not to much at once. You can eat during the day; just eat right and don't ever over indulge. Also, stay away from any kind of junk food and stop worrying about everyone else. They stink.

You say you don't eat much food are you eating the right kind of food? A healthy diet is just as important as exercise. I've known people to claim their dieting and eat a mars bar for their lunch. If you're eating the right kinds of stuff eg fruit and veg it fills you up more.

Assuming that you are eating properly I think you should go and see your doctor. He or she will be able to run tests to make sure there is nothing wrong thats stopping you from losing weight. For example some women have something calling polycystic ovaries which can make them overweight as it interferes with their hormones, or it could be an under active thyroid gland.

If they can't spot anythin wrong they (doctors surgeries) usually have nurses who help you by drawing you up a diet sheet and even an excercise sheet.
Or they may feel that it might be appropriate to try you on some weight loss drugs especially if you've been trying to lose the weight and it's just not happening.

I'm annoyed at your mother, She shouldn't make those comments to you at all :o\. Stress won't help you lose weight either. Yoga's pretty good if your gym does a class.

What you are doing is fine, but if you want a kick in weight loss, make sure you drink water. I cant stress enough that you must drink a lot of water.. They say, 8 8 oz glasses, but if you exercise it is supposed to be more than that. Magazines are a big help. Buy some fitness and diet magazines. Some good ones I know of are Self, Shape, Fitness, Diet and Exercise, and Health and Fitness. They will give you many useful tips and also show you some workouts you can do at home. Eat a lot of fruits and veggies. Right now is a good season for fruits, and youll get water too because fruit has a lot of water. Skip soda all together, diet soda too. Try a low fat diet, its important to watch calie intake, but fat is what really does you in. Try this site: http://www.ehow.com/tips_4622.html
Good luck!

Ok, here's a few pointers - Don't eat when your "really" hungry because by then your metabolism has already slowed down, you need to eat 4 - 5 small meals a day to maintain and kick your metabolism. Also try to cut carbs out after 4pm as you will not use the energy store before you go to sleep for the night. Drink plenty of water 8 250mil glasses is standed but if you can drink more that's great.

Or try orgainised weight loss programmes

Okay first off you need to find a diet that is natural
to the body, not this counting calories, carbs crap.

go to http://www.westonaprice.org/index.html

and have a nice long look around. This is the
way the body is meant to eat...do you think
natives count their calories?

also you need to get a hormone panel done.
most people who are overweight have hormone
problems, and a hormone issue can make
it much more difficult to lose wieght.
If you do chose to get this done ONLY DO
THE SALIVA PANEL. the blood panel
doesnt tell you Squat! It wil cost you
but its worth it for your health.

http://thecanaryclub.org/content/view/196/52/

Go to home lab tests and it should
explain the saliva panel..its far more
sensitive and accurate than the blood one.

Also- if you do find you have an imbalance
you need to get on NATURAL hormone
therapy. A health food store is the best
place to go, and the employees there
will be knowlegable.

1. Glandulars ( desicated forms of glands
help rebuild dysfunctional ones )
2. Multi vitamin Nutrient ( mannatech, garden of
life, and natures plus are all good brands )
3. Plus by mannatech-phytonutrient gives
your glands what they need for support.

http://www.mannatech.com/default.asp

http://www.gardenoflife.com/

http://www.standardprocess.com/index.asp
(for glandulars )

It would be helpful to purchase Glandulars
under a naturopathy doctors care-see if
you insurances covers a visit. If not it is
still worth it to fork out the money and
get on these if you are imbalanced.

If not anything else please visit the
Weston A Price website i gave you
I am in the Nutrition field and i have
yet to see a diet to match it. The upside
is that it is completely natural to the body.

You might also want to look into Functional
Fitness ( fitness natural to the body/anerobic)
Aerobics ( running, jogging or moving without stopping
for extended periods of time ) is hard on the body.

Do these and i would be hard pressed, and AMAZED
if it didnt work out for ya! I was overwieght with
my daughter and after doing these things i went
back to my normal wieght!

Good luck and happy surfing!

Make sure to drink lots of water especially when you wake up on an empty stomach try drinking two glasses before breakfast and then drink a glass of water approximately an hour before every meal. Trust me this work I lost weight doing that! Eat a serving of fruit once-twice a day and keep exercising! Eat Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner while snacking between the with the fruit servings! So don't starve yourself because logically speaking you can't burn calories if you don't have calories in your body!
And have a talk with your mom! She shouldn't be putting you down and adding more stress on you! You're on the right track so keep it up!

Not eating until you feel really hungry is a bad idea. Eat three reasonably sized meals a day. Consult a dietitian. Also, when it comes to the gym you should also talk to a personal trainer (most public gyms have them on staff) to make sure you are optimizing your workout time. If you honestly follow what they tell you and still don't lose any weight, see a doctor. Good luck

It sounds like you are on the right track, you just have to be patient, the weight will come of.Maybe you need to change your diet, and l mean this in a nice way.l would eat pasta 2 or 3 times a week with a salad, go to the gym, and not loose that much weight. Gave up the pasta and lost loads of weight.Don't listen to your mum when she says things like that. Maybe thats her way of encourging you.Best of luck

Well, first of all I think it is a shame that your mother is making fun of you...she should be trying to help you and not give you low self-esteem. If I may make a suggestion, why don't you see a Dr. about your weight problem or go to a professional weight loss center. If you are dieting and excercising and getting no results, either you are doing it incorrectly, or you may have other problems...like underactive thyroids or something. Let a professional help you, and ask your mom to be kind and get on your side...tell her how difficult it is for you and you need her support. Best wishes!
