It would be great if Liverpool could win the Champions League for a 6th time but the truth of the matter is that the major goal this season is winning the League. I believe Liverpool have the squad now to be able to compete in all competitions and we all know that Rafa knows the European continent well. The new additions of Bellamy, Palletta, Gonzalez, Aurelio and Pennant has strengthened the squad immensely. I also believe there is till 1 more striker on his way to LFC before the end of August.
This is Liverpool's year for the Double.

I think they have a good a chance as anybody else as long as the North West teams do well and the southern teams go out early then i will be happy. Happier still if a team from the North West win it but if i had to choose it would be Liverpool as most of my friends support them.

Course we can. we've already done it 5 times. we beat arguablly the best team in the world AC Milan when we were 3-0 down with a pretty crap team. now the team is stronger than that. but in all honesty i really think the league will be ours. AND ALL U MANC FANS! SHUT UP. YOU HAVEN'T WON ANYTHING FOR THE PAST 3 YEARS. YOUR NOT EVEN ON THE SAME LEVEL AS LPOOL. O YES U WON THE LEAGUE 7 TIMES. WELL WE GOT IT 18 TIMES!

Most Liverpool fans, half of Norway, and....well thats about it.
But no-one gave them a chance 2 years ago, and they proved people wrong then.
With possibly one of the best tacticians in the game in charge, they will have a chance, as will Bayern, Barca, Madrid, Milan, Lyon, Porto, Chelsea, Arsenal etc

We have a chance, on paper we should reach the quarter finals at least, but you never know.
If we don't win it then it would be nice for English football if Arsenal or Chelsea won it.
Don't want Man Utd to win it in a million years.

Strong chance. They need to be consitent. I think they will have a very good season, not only in the Premiership. This season will be close but I still think Chelsea will win it.

Let's hope so! Although I would prefer it to be a little more straightforward this time, so I don't have to hide behind the kitchen wall during the game! ALLEZ LES ROUGES!! Stevie G for England captain!
