The question of global warming is complex, vastly so and I don't expect a layperson like myself to answer this question with any significant degree of scientific knowledge. Apparently there are only a handful of scientists that can legimitately debate global warming.

But I'm just curious whether the true global warming experts have managed to convince the public of this potential danger. Do we have faith in them?

global warming is not a matter of whether you believe it or not. despite a huge amount o ffunding and a lot of complaining from al gore, a group of fanatisists have managed to scare most of the planet into thinking the world is getting too hot.

the fact is that most scientists don't want to tarnish their reputation by speaking one way or another. there is NO conclusive evidence that we are having an effect on our climate on a global scale. no one wants to say anything because most of the words being said are incorrect.

we've actually seen that in america, there has been a steady temperature decline over the last 40 years. not increase, but DECLINE. in washington state, more CO2 was pumped into the atmosphere from Mt. st. helens than from all the cars combined.

there is no conclusive evidence to support global warming. in fact, some suggests the opposite. the scientific community needs a lt more time to study this phenomenon before anyone makes a decision. if we start jumping the gun and half-guessing the answer, we could end up making things worse.

Yes, I do agree that global warming exists.
The experts are warning about this, since many years highlighting the effect of global warming. But, all the Governments have turned deaf years to this warning. May be the sound of money offered by the Industrialists is higher than the warning by the experts.

i think that global warming exists but it is part of a natural cycle. there is evidence of global warming in florida. most of it is in an area that has been submerged when the ross ice shelf in antartica melted. yes it did melt at least once before. if you think about it the ice ages are the cooling stages for the earth and global warming is the heating process. its part of a natural cycle. as far as the co2 that humans put out it just speeds up the process but i do think that we as a whole are putting out too much co2 and we need to clean it up. As far as the experts i do not think so because not all transportation companies are looking to fule the next generation of vehicles with lets say e85 or ethanol. however i do think that they are getting people to listen and at least think about it

No, the warming trend is a normal cycle.
Assume the temperature rises 1 degree, then more water evaporates, resulting in more clouds.
More cloud means more rain; the rain will again cool the earth.

Years ago, it was predicted that an ice age is upon us unless we change our way of life

People that preach Global warming, usually have an agenda, that is they tend to profit from it
