Sure, why not. Why are they any different to any other independent nation on earth? America will invade every country on earth given enough time.

U.S. isn't attacking Lebanon, so I wouldn't consider that the "first phase", plus I don't believe Syria has much oil, if I'm correct in the assumption then they won't touch them with a ten foot pole. They just let others (Israel) do the dirty work for them and stay on the sidelines.

Yes, it has to be! Provided the Islamic Terrorists and Jihadis enter Syria for safety. Actually I feel that could happen in the presnt condition as Hisbollah Terrorists are in the receiving end.

While the Hisbollah withdraws surely Israel will chase them and
will surely trace the hideouts and bombard them severely. In between the Hisbollah will use civilians as their shield as they do now at Lebanon and the war will get extended beyond the Syrian border. So Syrians should be careful and should not permit the entry of Hisbollah Islamic Terrorists in their land.

I don't think that they have the balls. They are already streched in Iraq. No way could they take on a force like Syria now.

No..
Syria and USA never clashed as enemies ...

And USA doesn't consider Syria as a real enemy...USA want just a few demands from Syria ...once they applied USA will forget every thing...
