hermione won't die..pls go read ms rowling's latest press conf. she gave in new york..i quote 'hermione will be intertwined with tht person and tht person is someone will all know alrdy'. also, she said many times hermione will NOT end up w. harry-sadly..but true..harry has no hope of romance,it's not in his cards. harry will die coz--'neither can survive while the other lives'-n also,d last word in book 7 is scar-this v likely tht harry's scar is a horcrux-tht's why voldie can give harry some access into his mind n powers...

personally, i'm absolutely not sure if harry will die or not. if he does, however, is it really so negative? i think the question here is if we regard harry as a jesus or as a percival figure. both are redeeming figures but achieve redemption by contrasting means, jesus by death and percival by survival. you could argue that lily is the jesus figure in the book, which would make harry the percival one. that would also fit with dumbledore's hints at harry's pureness of heart. on the other hand, the way j.k. rowling has constructed the plot so far, harry's martyrdom would be a logical conclusion of events, and given that voldemort is the ultimate evil harry forcibly has to be the ultimate good, i.e. a jesus figure. should the latter be true, i wouldn't see his death as absolutely negative... anyway, we'll see...

I just heard Steven King and some other dude are advising J.K to NOT kill Harry.

Personally, I think it will be Snape who dies DEFENDING Harry. Everyone thinks Snape is still a loyal Death Eater and it looks that way too. I think Snape will go with Voldemort but then TURN on V., help Harry destory him but will die in the end. JMO.

Hopefully they will both survive. Though the rumor is going around that JK is going to kill Harry off so that no one else can write about him. I think maybe Hagrid or Mr or Mrs Weasley are pretty good targets as well.

i hope neither of them dies, because both of them are my favourite characters.
Anyway,I have heard that, sadly,Harry will die at the end of the book,as I heard that JK stated this in one of her interviews. I have not seen this interview myself, but if it does exist it is probably found on www.mugglenet.com

Everyone is going to die at the end of the series. And on the very last page it will say 'HaHa you have just wasted 8 yrs. of your life reading these books!!!Thanks for making me richer than the Queen!'
