Money DOES buy happiness regardless if people want to believe it or not. Anyone who tries to tell you different is lying to you and themselves. If you think I'm lying, ask a "broke/financially strapped" person if they're truly happy. If they give you an honest answer, they'll tell you how miserable they are. Without money comes stress of bill collectors, daily survival, and often marital problems.
If you ask me they should change the wording used during weddings to say "...til DEBT do you part." Death has nothing to do with it...death will be the result of your marriage the minute finanal problems enter your lives.
The only people who say money can't buy happiness are those who don't have any. "Money doesn't/can't buy happiness" is just a phrase that "broke people" spend way too much time trying to convince themselves of.

Money cannot buy happiness, it can buy a house, not home. Money can buy you so many things, but happiness comes from the heart. In today's fast world we can very well imagine why is it that we are running after money. It will never make us happy. The real happiness comes when we are content with the money that we have and have a prayer to God in ourheart who helped us have that much. It may be far less, but there is tomorrow...a new beginning always. We must be hopeful.

I agree to it.
I am earning fine. But do i really have peace in my mind? Am i Happy? I loos someone only that i had few responsibilities to complete and she was not able to wait for me.. So did my money bought her to me? Never!
Even if you earn a lot. You are not less greedy then before.. You start thinking to earn more.. and thus you even bothered in other issues like security and blah blah.. Then you are in a systematic life.. Which is called as ROBOTIC life sometimes..
Do you have the happiness that an Old man/women gets when he/she looks at his/her GrandChilds laughing and playing with them?
Money is nothing to Happiness! You looking for Happiness? You might need to compromise, share, care, think, feel, sacrifice. Where money has a deal there is nothing to sacrifice or to compromise.
So there is no way to buy Happiness with Money.

I guess it really depends on each person's understanding of happiness or what he/she was taught to regard as happiness.
To some people having money and all the material things money can buy is equal to happiness, and they live their lives accordingly. Others are not like that though. I've seen enough poor people who lead happier and more fulfilling lives than the richest of men.

Money does not buy happiness! But it can give you a sense of happiness. I can have little money, or a ton of money. I can buy things to make me happy, but only lasts a little while. I can "buy" a hot skinny supermodel wife. Only happy until she wants me just for the money. Happiness is what you make from what you have.

I believe it can buy happiness. It isn't that you can't be happy if you are poor, but you need a very strong. It is easier to enjoy living life when you don't have to worry so much about where the next paycheck is coming from.

I think that money can buy hapiness as it would allow you to do all things you always wanted to and more.
However, in the words of Paul McCartney: "Can't Buy Me Love"
