He is typical of a lot of NBA players, great athletes but very weak in fundamentals. That is why some of these players should stay in school not just for an education but to learn their craft.

Well, Darius Miles is still pretty young and he could quite possibly be a late bloomer. Personally, I like the kid. He's tall, he's quick and he's athletic but it just seems like he thinks he's much better than he really is. At this point in his career, he's a good third option with the potential to be a great second. With his height and athleticism, he should be racking up more steals and blocks. But the biggest thing is, Darius Miles NEEDS to play in a fast paced offense where he can get out and run. He'd be much better on the Suns, Mavs or Nets.

he doesn't have a great basketball IQ. I think the same thing has happenned to Stromile Swift, and will happen to Rudy Gay. All are phenomenal athletes, but know very little about how to play basketball. Plus, Miles probably did not need to come out of high school so early. I'm not a big fan of leaving school early.

Portland and Cleveland were playing him out of position. They were trying to turn him into a point-forward. They wanted him to play more point guard, thinking it would cause defensive problems for other teams, but it didn't work. I think doing that took from his game. He's a small forward. He can run the floor and hit the open jump shot from anywhere on the floor. Portland needs to move him back to the three spot.

I don't know but really like him. I think some of the reason was because he was on a half way good team. Now the team he is on sucks when you find out let me know. I thought he would have been really good. You don't hear much about hime now.

i think attitude is one reason. he is simlar to ryan leaf, he is immature doesnt handle questions and critisism well and should have played college ball. he was not ready for the nba and he may not reach his potential becasue of jump from high school to pro ball.
