no, thankfully. I'm quick to honk at people if they are looking suspicious, like they are thinking about pulling out in front of me or like they want to cut me off lol some people call it road rage, I call it defensive driving.

my roommate got into a wreck because someone pulled out and did a u turn in front of her. Totalled her car, it sucked.

When I was 17, I hit a phone pole head on going about 60 mph. It was on a curvy road and it had been raining. I was going too fast around the curve and lost control and ran roff the road, sideswiped a tree and crashed into the pole. My airbag deployed. All I could is stare at the pole right in front of me. I was frozen. I thought I was about to die. It was a strange feeling. I walked away without a scratch though other than a little burn on my hand from the airbag. My car was totaled though and I had only had the car for 3 months.

I'm now a firm believer that all our thoughts affect our lives. We should leave nothing to fate.

I went out drinking with a close buddy of mine, and got more drunk than I planned. I didn't know this at the time, but so did he. It's very hard to tell when eithre one of us is drunk. There had been an ice storm that weekend, so the roads were still a bit slippery.

We decided to leave, and without thinking about how drunk he might have been, I jumped in the car and headed home. For some reason, when we got off on our exit, I had a strange thought, and decided to put my seat belt on...something I never did before. Not 30 seconds later, Mike decided to speed up just before going around a curve. Thought he was having a little fun. Unfortunately, his back tires were bald, he wasn't a very good driver, the road was slippery, and he was drunk as a skunk. He must have gotten up to 70 miles an hour just before the back tires slipped from behind us, sending us into a spin. Somehow we went off the road in the direction of the turn, instead of going across the road, out of the curve. We managed not to hit anyone. During that spin, I just sat there calmly, knowing exactly what was about to happen. I thought I might die. I thought I might be seriously injured. But I wasn't really worried. Might have been the alcohol, I don't know. But we hit a 2 1/2 foot wide tree instead. It hit just behind the driver's side front wheel well, directly on. We hit it so hard, that the car actually spun the other way around and flipped over from the rotational force. we landed up side down...I'm not sure, but we might have rolled a couple of times. Anyway, we slid to a stop in the bottom of the ditch. I couldn't find my cellphone anywhere, and noone of the cars passing by could see us in the dark. I looked at Mike, and thought he was dead. He turned out to be just unconscious. Anyway, I unbuckled my seat belt and flipped myself over, but when I landed I landed in a pile of shattered glass, and I quickly realized I had broken my collar bone, at the exact place where my neck tendon attatched to it. Then I saw Mike's cell phone laying open on the floor. I called 911 and the ambulance passed right by us and couldn't see us. A cop passed by twice, and finally the firetruck saw us. The firemen pulled Mike out and I tried to crawl out, but it was too painful, so I gave them my other arm and they slid me out. I got to the hospital and found out my collar bone was broken, my foot was broken, and my shin was fractured. I had a bruised rib. Mike got a couple of scratches, but was ok. Car was destroyed.

I spent the next 3 months at home, cause no one would hire me till I was released from the doctor. I had just quit my job three days before the wreck and had an interview lined up for the next day. Being alone for 3 months is hard. I started losing money, I didn't see my girlfriend very much, but she came down when she could. I actually had a friend start buying me groceries, and she got me a great job, which I still have. During that time I was alone, I changed greatly. Re-examined myself. I actually appreciate having been in that wreck. It showed me that God wasn't going to allow me to go through anything I couldn't handle alone, and he would be there when I couldn't handle something.

We hit a moose. It shattered the windshield and the passenger window. It flew over the car. My mom had to try to stay on the road because there was a car coming on the other side. She made it to stay on our side. I had cuts and a bigger cut by my eye that I had to get stitches. I also got kicked on the arm by the moose. That hurt more then the cut by my eye. I couldn't move my arm for a couple of days, it hurt so bad. It hit on my side so my mom wasn't really hurt. She was just really sore. I'm glad it wasn't worse than that.

Horrible. Hit by a cop car with no lights on going 70 miles an hour. I was throwing up and had a sever concussion.

Yes, a motorcycle-riding man rammed his vehicle into the car i was driving. Fortunately, nobody was hurt seriously (only minor cuts and bruises) but I was very much shaken. For a few minutes or hours, I kept seeing the "slow-mo" replay of the accident in my mind.

Life and death. Did a 350deg turn on the fwy. All doors were jammed. The truck smashed from my car trunk to the driver seat. I managed to crawled out from the window. The driver who hit me disappeared. Private eye couldn't find him.

yes, ten years ago when i was 7. my mom, me, sister and 2 cousins ran under a semi that was going17 mph on the interstate, we were going 70 and coming over a hill, thats why my mom did not see him. my sister and 2 cousins died, they were 6,6,and 5, and i had 13 broke bones. i broke my back, the ball thingy on my hip bone where it attaches to ur leg, and my arm in 3 places. i was in a full body cast for a month. my mom's femur came out her pants leg and her hand was shattered. i remember bein in the car askin mama if it was a dream, and riding in the helicopter, and my sister was in there, but i thought it was my 5 yr old cousin she looked so small. my 2 cousins died on impact, but my sister died at the hospital 4 hours later. but our community really helped out. my dad works at a prison as a correctional officer, and in 3 days they raised over 10,000 dollars, and officers donated their vacation days so my dad could be at home. he stayed home for like 14 months and still got paid. and ppl cooked for us like every night for 10 months and my elementary school brought us meals on tues and thurs for about a year and a half. people sent me all kinds of toys to play with in bed. it was a bad thing, but it has really defined me as a person, and made me realize lots of things about life.
