I am not a liberal or a Republican so I can speak freely. The Democrats have done a great for America in years past but so lately. They have a new set of tactics which doesn't seem to help anyone including themselves. They are acting stupidly and much too aggressively against the present administration. On the other hand the Republicans have not done a good job with Iraq and no one can convince me otherwise. When the invasion of Iraq began I informed my wife that this would result in tragedy because the Sunnis ans Shiites would never work together. They never have in the past unless they were literally forced to do so. Arabs have been fighting Arabs for centuries and today is no different than it was when Lawrence of Arabia tried to unite them. He failed. We will fail as well. There will be a full scale civil war in Iraq very soon and I say let it happen. It would cost American lives to keep it under control.These people do not know how to live with one another. The only thing that I am afraid of is that if the Shiites win the civil war, Iran will walk into Iraq and this will be a bad thing for us and the world. Iraq is the real threat in the middle east and we must contain them. Incidentally, the majority of Iraqis are against the USA so why are we hanging around and losing lives? How do we get out without losing face?

I am not a liberal or a conservative. Both are kind of wacky to me. But when I think of spoiled and selfish. c'mon. Conservatives invented the word.

Spoiled" Most conservatives are affluent. they have big homes. Stocks. They do not shop at Walmart. They are more likely to have memberships at a yacht club or the golf links. they tend to be more likely to have memberships in the Rotary, Elks, etc. They far more than liberals have old money. Conservatives don't care for many social programs because they got theirs. What did your leader say, "I see we have the 'haves', and the 'have mores'"

Selfish: In the back yard or the world stage. When conservatives one something they get it. Beg, steal, barrow, cheat, or chisel it from hard rock. What the world really wants they are clueless because they see only what they want to see. that is why they could not find a WMD if they hatched it. because it would not be where they wanted to find it. When the Supreme Court goes against them, rather than accept it and change their torturous ways, they try to use the Congress or any other means to do an end around on the Court and the Constitution.

Maybe conservative are like that man before the mirror, who when he turns from it. Forgets what he looks like.

Must I remind you that the minimum wage increase is dependant on conservatives getting a tax reduction in estates over a million dollars.

I don't know. Spoiled and selfish? Liberals fight for equality of all economic, racial, and gender group.
Conservatives want no taxes for the rich, for the poor to have lower classes of education, to have no education, to be stuck in minimum wage jobs, and to keep the black man down (cliche, but true.)

Yup. I'm a liberal. I make 8.50 an hr working with the mentally handicapped working on a double degree, to someday work to a ph.d in non-profit law. I'm totally selfish and spoiled.
Wait, maybe I'm the exception?! Except every liberal I know is fighting for the same basic ideals. Whereas the conservatives I know basically join the democrat party when it suits them (22 year old men who don't want children but enjoy sex seem to be really keen on that whole pro-choice thing) but don't care when it doesnt. (like... helping the poor get better education.)

That's puzzling, because I am a liberal and yet I am living with a Bachelors degree below the poverty line. I wish I was spoiled and a bit more selfish... or maybe wanting national health care is selfish, since I have trouble affording what's offered through my company . . .

Ok, when you think of censorship you think of liberals..when you think of spoiled selfish people you think of liberals..do you think of liberals all the time or what?? :)))
