i am 17 and discovered stretch marks around my hips. although i understand that there arent ne creams you can use, i was wondering if because i am still a teen, they will go away with proper weight loss and exercise.

No, stretchmarks won't disappear. Stretchmarks mean nothing else than that your skin has been damaged (torn) and there is unfortunately no way to "fix it" completely. However, stretchmarks do fade over time and they get lighter and less obvious. There are in fact creams that supposedly help to make the stretchmarks less obvious, but I'm personally not convinced that they work.

Depending on how deep they are they fade with time. But they do not go away until you treat them with something real good. I have my dose of stretch marks since about 11, because I grew too fast vertically and horizontally. I'm now 22 and most of them are better now. But it's better to treat them than let them be. There are many creams made for them out there.
