English is the government approved language for teaching Math right? But in real life, teachers use a combination of English and a particular regional vernacular.

I do believe that it is easier to learn and to teach mathematics and the sciences in the type of lingo the students are at home with. What do you think

Yes, as if the students have to learn a new language before they can understand a word you're saying.

Therefore it would be much easier to teach them it in their natural language so that they understand it, even if they are then taught it in Filipino or any other language at a later date.

I was taught mathematics in English but used almost the whole Greek alphabet in algebraic equations, trigonometry, integral calculus, Euclidean geometry and other branches.

Mathematics, being a very difficult subject matter to most students, should be taught it whatever language the students are most comfortable with (May it be Filipino, Taglish, or any other dialect or language).. These wil help them eliminate the problem of language and thus concentrating on the bigger problem, numbers..

It should be taught in whatever the countries language is in. If I am from a different country and speak a different language, I better get at home with the new country's language really fast if I expect to learn anything else. Unless I move from Mexico to the U.S. then I can leach the system.

What kind of question is that? Math is math, 1+1=2 in any language. The language of math is universal just like the language of music is.

English. Don't know any other language.

However, Pythagerous used Greek/Latin. English didn't exist.

The language you are best at is the best language to learn in.
