Colours In Your Eyes?

Do you notice when u close your eyes u can actually see colours ? Why is that?

Yes, if your eyes have light color .like me after you close your eyes front of the sun , you see red color and when you remove it you see it blue, it because our Retina in our eyes save some thing for some minute.

Because the cells that "see" are inside the eyes and sight is in the brain. I see only black when i close my eyes, but my friend says he sees red, his eyelids must be thin and he sees the blood maybe.
