if your daughter signed it, the document is now null invoid because your daughter was not aware of what she was signing and was not given due time to read or process the information, the law is very clear on this especially in mental health

That woman should be strung up...

When it relates to mental health, it's dodgy subject anyway. If someone is deemed to not be of sound mind, then they can't be held liable for anything they've signed anyway.

In real circumstances, your daughter is well within her rights to demand to be given time to read what she's signing, or refuse to sign. After the fact, it becomes more difficult. Technically, yes, the law protects you, but it is your responsibility to read BEFORE you sign something. And it's very difficult to prove that you weren't given the opportunity to do that.

A prudent educated individual will never sign a paper without reading it, unless he is confident about the content and the integrity of the individual asking him/her to sign it. However, when it comes to legal, the law persumes it that the contents of the paper signed by the individual as read on affixing his signature, if he does not plead for any force or trick applied by the person who requires the signature.

Is your daughter over 18? Because if so, no.
You can't FORCE a person to sign anything, but your daughter in this case still had free will, and choose not to use it.

Teach her to never sign anything without reading it, and deal with the consquences (Unless she's under 18, then she can't legally sign contractual documents)

It is illegal to FORCE someone to sign something even after reading it, if they are not willing.

There is usually no law against the person who signs without reading. Ofcourse, that doesn't change the fact that the person becomes bound by what he signed.

No it is not illegal unless is it proved in the court of law that the signature was taken forcibly or without the person reading the papers.

it's not a legal document if you are forced or coerced into signing. however it sounds as tough she signed it willingly so you may have a hard time having it nullified
