Last week on 27th July 2006, I have actually seen some floating stones kept at Rameshwaramj, Panchamukhi hanuman temple. They appeared like coral stones. They are displayed in floating condition in a tank specially built for the purpose. One can touch and feel.

First, while they were building the bridge, the rocks they threw sinked in the ocean. then hanuman wrote sri ram on the rocks are succeed in building the bridge to lanka, where sita was held captivated.Since it happened 1,75,000 years ago, most of the bridge got dimolished and some of the rocks sinked to the bottom of the ocean. I read it somewhere that some huge boulders could be seen underneath the ocean floor, between Rameshwar and Lanka.
