There a lot of jobs like that. As you have rightly mentioned about Baptist Minister. Further we have in India, the President of the Board of Control of Cricket in India, the Chief of the Indian Hockey Federation. They have the credit seeing the decline of the standards of the game over the years. When a tour starts, they will tell their team will win, when tour is completed they will say why they could not win.
I find in other countries too, people at important positions vie with each other for such an honour.

I don't know what state you live in, but in the south they are much too accurate. Of course they aren't mind readers and weather, especially hurricanes have a mind of their own.
