First of all, if you are majoring in medicine, law, or engineering then I think it is worth the time and money. But, for all other majors, it is a waste of time because getting promoted is all about WHO you know and know what you know. My uncle is the President of a grocery store chain in Texas I will take over his 5 million dollar enterprise with only "some" college. I just want to get this out of my system. Life is not fair if you dont have connections, but its wonderful when you do.

I told my own brother that it is not worth it unless:

1. You have a major in demand(accounting, healthcare)
2. You get an internship and get involed in your school
3. You can afford it and go to a decent college

And I am a college grad. I recommend learning a skilled trade. in 4 years college degree in average major=highschool degree

College... Personally, I believe that college is really worth the effort, money and time. It may seem that connection is the only thing needed nowdays, but not really. It happens, but i believe college will still prevail. Wouldnt it be a such a great feeling to be able to finish college? The satisfaction it gives can be immensley great.
