Does anyone else hate Blade Runner, love Gladiator, and find Kingdom of Heaven boring?
If so, why do you think this is?

I enjoyed Blade Runner. Thought gladiator was 'okay-ish' and then thought Kingdom of Heaven was crapola.
It seems that each one was made before the other so it is possible that, as time goes by, Mr Ridley Scott has been losing his film-making skills and consequently his critical acclaim.

Blade Runner is amazing. Gladiator was disappointing. I absolutely love Kingdom of Heaven.

I had never seen anything like Blade Runner before when I went to see it at the cinema when I was 18, it just blew me away, and I don't think it has dated at all.
Gladiator was exciting, but a bit soapy, and I think Kingdom of Heaven was scuppered by political correctness.

Blade Runner is a stunning film!!!
I agree with you on the Gladiator and Kingdom of Heaven though.
The reason that his films vary in quality is the same as the reason everybody else's films vary in quality - it's impossible to make things perfect every time.
Every great film maker has had the occasional turkey.

was gladiator bad? I don't think so, not as good as braveheart maybe. You do know one of the actors died half way through so they had to re-write the ending.
