My mother is a dentist and she'd say, nothing. I'm studying for my MCAT right now and she just cannot believe how much physics they require us to know, and thinks it's silly because it has little to do with medical science. But I suppose they want some people to go on and develop equipment or methods for diagnosis and so forth using physics. There should be a separate profession called Medical Physics.
